What is a Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioners (NP) are certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) who have completed an additional 2-4 years of academic and clinical education. NPs are considered Advanced Practice Providers (APP) and have a very different skill set compared to Registered Nurses (RNs).

NPs obtain a different license and can function independently compared to other medical or nursing professionals. Additionally, they are qualified to prescribe medicine and discuss medical treatment options with you.

In our case, the NPs we work with are actively licensed and knowledgeable about how our Pinch products can help you reach your treatment goals. They’ve gone through extensive training with us before they are even available to accept appointments.

That we work only with NPs sets Pinch apart from alternatives like med spas or salons. Getting injectables is a medical procedure and we believe the people providing the service should be medical professionals.

Pinch chose to partner with NPs because of their years of direct patient experience, medical expertise and professionalism. Every Pinch provider is professionally and personally vetted. We’ve verified all their credentials, training and licenses and completed a background check to ensure we only partner with outstanding medical professionals.

When we started Pinch, we asked ourselves who would we trust to treat our friends and family. We immediately thought of the many NPs we had worked with in the past and knew these individuals would best group to bring Pinch to our clients.
